Teaching AD/HD kids?
My nephew and my son are with me the most part of everyday. My son catches on really easily, but for the nephew he struggles with everything he has to work so hard and then he gets frustrated and wants to stop. He really can't write much at all but he's left handed too I don't know if that makes a difference I keep him with the tracing worksheets to help. I want them to be ready for kindergarden so I play school with all the kids I babysit everyday. He does have AD/HD and his attention span is really low, so how can I work around this to get him on the right track?

There is no scientific study on this yet, but many mothers swear on this. Certainly doesn't hurt to try this: 1) no sugar 2) no dairy products 3) no wheat products Many AD/HD has tolerance problem with these proteins. The inability to break them down properly interferes with the brain functioning/concentration, etc. not to say this is the cause of your nephew, but it's an easy way to find out if this helps.
